Webrankings.com Preseason Rankings. (They may take a few seconds to load.) Every team starts at zero. Won/Loss record is FBS v. FBS only. Teams get zero points for playing a non-FBS Team. After the first week, most winners will be tied (Home winners will get 1.0, Neutral Field winners will get 1.05, and Away winners will get 1.1). But by week three or four, as teams win and prior opponents win, teams will start to separate themselves. By mid-October, rankings will be similar (but different) to the AP and Coaches' polls. The goal with these rankings it to show which teams have the best resume.
